Bars and Melody choose Aston Stealth

Category : Artists

British pop duo Bars and Melody (B.A.M.) have been at work with producer Romesh Dodangoda with an Aston Stealth microphone chosen for both artists' vocals.

B.A.M., comprising rapper Leondre ‘Bars’ Devries and singer Charlie ‘Melody’ Lenehan covered a rendition of Billie Eilish’s ‘When the Party’s Over’ in Romesh’s studio. The pair also covered XXXTENTACION & Lil Pump’s ‘Arms Around You’, this time with an Aston Spirit as the vocal mic. The two videos have already amassed over 1 million views between them.

Leondre and Charlie formed Bars and Melody in 2014 and got their first taste of fame on TV show 'Britain’s got Talent'. The song they performed on the show, 'Hopeful' went on to be the band’s first chart success, reaching number 4 in the UK singles chart. The video has over 250 million views on Youtube.

Since the release of that debut single the pair have released 2 albums, '143', for which Aston 33 member Romesh mixed some of the tracks, and 'Generation Z'. Both have achieved chart success in the UK, Poland and Japan.
