Aston Halo Shadow — Vocal Reflection Filter in Black

The Halo Shadow is the matte-black sibling to the original Aston Halo — same patented PET-felt acoustic structure, same 360-degree double-curved form, finished in deep black for studios, video sets, and on-camera podcast environments where the filter needs to disappear into the frame rather than colour it.

Acoustic Design

Three-layer PET-felt construction in a double-curved form that filters both horizontal and vertical reflections. The patented PET-felt material is up to five times more acoustically efficient than foam, made from approximately 70 percent recycled plastic through a cold-press process that yields a porous, rigid felt with the structural strength to hold its shape session after session.

Sound Character

Vocals read forward and dry — the early reflections from floor, ceiling, and back wall are absorbed before they re-enter the capsule. The result is a signal that needs less corrective EQ and reverb processing to sit clean in a mix.
