About this product

Industry-Leading Vocal Reflection Filter Reduces Reflections in Both Horizontal and Vertical Planes Purple Finish

Aston Halo — Vocal Reflection Filter in Heritage Purple

The Aston Halo is the reflection filter that engineers reach for when the room is not the room — when a vocal needs to sound dry and forward in a project studio, a hotel room, a podcast booth, or anywhere the walls argue back. Its double-curved form delivers genuine 360-degree filtering — absorbing floor and ceiling reflections as well as horizontal ones, where most filters only address the back wall.

Acoustic Design

The Halo's structure is moulded from a patented PET-felt material — up to five times more acoustically efficient than acoustic foam, and made with around 70 percent recycled plastic that undergoes a cold-press process to form a porous, rigid felt with three layers of acoustic depth. The spherical form gives a 4-inch radius around the capsule for substantial isolation.

Sound Character

What the Halo gives a vocal is the absence of room — early reflections drop out of the recording before they ever colour the take, leaving a clean, intimate signal ready for processing. Voices read forward and dry; the floor reflection that turns vocals into a podcast couch echo simply does not arrive.
